Emma Foster, originally from Arkansas, began her training in ballet at the age of seven and later joined the Victoria Ballet Theatre in Victoria, Texas. While achieving a Bachelor of Arts in Dance from Texas Tech University, Emma trained and performed in multiple genres of dance including modern, release technique, improvisation, ballet, jazz, hip hop, and break-dancing. For a summer, she ventured out to the American Dance Festival where she performed in work choreographed by Michelle Gibson (Alvin Ailey 2 company), Leah Cox (Bill T. Jones/ Arnie Zane Dance Company), Ming Yang (Trisha Brown Dance Company). Her choreographed work has been presented at the American College Dance Festival. In her first year of living in Houston, Texas, Emma has become proficient in the art of aerial silks and now performs and teaches classes locally.
